America is in Fifth Generation Warfare
Despite what the hostile media would have you believe, America truly is under attack by ideas that have been sharpened into weapons. Extremist movements hostile to capitalism and constitutional order have been mobilized as pawns in a larger game. Many adherents believe they are fighting oppression, yet they serve (willing or not) as force multipliers for foreign adversaries who amplify their causes to fracture the Republic from within. Make no mistake: Fifth Generation Warfare (5GW) is real, and the invasion is already here, and it may have just turned kinetic.
The Nature of Fifth-Generation Warfare

Unlike past conflicts, this invasion has unfolded quietly through classrooms, media, and digital platforms. Fifth Generation Warfare is typically thought of as a form of conflict waged primarily through information, influence, and psychological operations. However, that doesn’t mean that action is entirely absent. 5GW has a kinetic edge that is surgically timed, intelligence-driven, and narratively aligned physical action, amplifying informational effects while minimizing exposure.
Think of Marxist-trained groups like BLM and Antifa, which take narratively aligned physical action into the streets, giving such ideas a physical expression and a recruiting tool. In many ways, this is the kinetic edge of Fifth Generation Warfare personified. In this form of conflict, fringe, indoctrinated, and ideological groups cease to function as mere protest movements and instead resemble auxiliaries of foreign adversaries operating on American soil. Unfortunately, these people are typically pawns in a larger operation.
The Strategy of Subversion
The Soviet Union pioneered this ideological subversion. Defectors like Yuri Bezmenov warned that generations could be softened through education, media, and institutional capture until they lacked the clarity or will to defend their nation. For many years, Yevgeny Prigozhin ran Russia’s Internet Research Agency (IRA), which was also called the “troll factory,” and conducted social media manipulation campaigns, including interference in the 2016 U.S. election. Today, China, Russia, and Iran employ the same strategy with digital tools, amplifying radical narratives on both sides at scale to weaken America from within. And it’s working.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk demonstrated this dynamic in real time. Within hours, foreign networks seeded competing narratives: Russian groups claimed America was sliding toward civil war, Chinese outlets portrayed the U.S. as violent and dysfunctional, and pro-Iranian networks pushed antisemitic conspiracy theories. Antifa seemed to be follow as expected.
Keep in mind that this wasn’t organic commentary. It was orchestrated amplification designed to deepen division and prevent a unified response. In 5GW, reality itself becomes contested terrain. This makes societal fracture and conflict easier to occur. At this point, one merely needs to “break the glass.”
From Protest to Proxy

This strategy transforms protests into a form of proxy warfare. Domestic radicals become force multipliers for foreign actors, and the escalation is visible. Antifa demonstrates this transformation clearly. Once loosely organized, it has increasingly adopted uniforms, symbols, and coordinated tactics. Members adopt black bloc attire, which typically includes head-to-toe black clothing, masks or balaclavas, helmets, goggles, and improvised shields. Is that a peaceful protest? Does the coordination demonstrate a lack of organization?
No! This uniform is tactical: it provides anonymity, creates visual solidarity, and projects intimidation. The effect is both practical, complicating identification and arrest, and psychological, presenting a paramilitary appearance signaling readiness for confrontation. However, you must also understand that it is more than show, as these individuals went from frustrated to ready to fight. Of course, we should ponder who stoked the sentiment and sowed the seeds. Moreover, we should ponder the overt psyop of denial.
Either way, we must understand that such uniforms are declarations of operational readiness, marking the transition from protest to paramilitary behavior. Moreover, when these groups openly call for confrontation, declare entire demographics enemies, and celebrate political violence as “direct action,” we must accept that they have moved beyond activism into the role of insurgent auxiliaries.
Watch: Antifa aims to ‘abolish’ democracy in the United States
Sure, Antifa might be decentralized and less a unified revolutionary army than a collection of loosely connected ideological actors sharing hostility to capitalism and constitutional order. Nonetheless, their activities and symbolism align with Marxist or anarcho-communist goals, positioning them against the U.S. Constitution itself, rather than merely against political parties. Of course, that only demonstrates the true nature of this conflict and inherently makes Marxists, Communists, Socialists, and anyone who works to advance those ideologies enemies of the Constitution itself. Indeed, this goes deeper than partisan politics, and we should all act accordingly.
The Puppet Masters

While foreign actors likely planted these seeds, both foreign and domestic amplification magnifies the threat. For example, the celebration, denial, and reframing of Kirk’s assassination across extremist networks was deliberate. The media was quick to point the finger. Indeed, Russian, Chinese, and Iranian accounts amplified each narrative, maximizing confusion while minimizing accountability. However, this was further stoked by those in power seeking to gain more.
You are watching 5GW (both kinetic and non-kinetic) in action: using domestic extremists as pawns while sympathetic authoritarians and foreign adversaries manipulate the board. Certainly, there are those who will argue with these statements. However, that’s called “Information countermeasures.” This is where adversaries will contest attribution and message framing, because the value of kinetic effects diminishes if the narrative is lost. Kinetic actions tied to 5GW narratives must manage plausible deniability and political fallout, because misattribution can rapidly escalate conflict.
While it is tempting to have empathy for those being manipulated, I would argue that we must resist feeling sorry for these pawns. They have access to the same information you do. They simply refuse to review it. Besides, the true danger resides less with street-level actors but with those in suits behind podiums stoking their anger. This is to say that if you arrest one actor, another will take their place because the root hasn’t been addressed.
Exploiting Internal Weakness
Adversaries succeed because America has grown vulnerable from within. The education system shifted from cultivating critical thinkers to manufacturing compliant workers (on purpose). Safety has been prioritized over resilience, leaving generations unprepared for adversity (intentionally). Due to Epistemic Rigidity, citizens cling to false narratives even when confronted with contrary evidence. This rigidity is precisely the weakness adversaries exploit. For clarity, a society obsessed with safety, blind to consequence, and unwilling to confront hard truths can be conquered without armies.
Kirk’s assassination exposed this weakness brutally. As previously mentioned, within hours, the killing generated incompatible narratives: martyrdom, love story, false flag, and justified act. Each version was amplified by bot networks to fracture reality and prevent consensus. This is 5GW perfected: not conquering territory but collapsing shared truth and contorting minds. This is a critical point, because a nation that cannot agree on basic facts cannot defend against those who profit from the division. Lincoln was right: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.“
The Constitutional Target
What’s most at stake is the Constitution itself. The confusion and violence are prompting people to demand action from the government. They will gladly provide it at the expense of liberty. But it’s worse than that. Through cancel culture, adversaries undermine the First Amendment. Through disarmament advocacy, they strike at the root of the Second. Through federal overreach, they erode the Tenth. Through mob justice and political pressure, they corrupt due process, leaving law-abiding Constitutionalists feeling attacked from both extremist and federal directions. The list goes on.
The goal isn’t simply pressuring institutions but dismantling the framework that guards liberty against tyranny, replacing it with expanded government (whether federalism or communism). If the result is less liberty and more government, does it matter what that government is labeled? We have lost our way.
The saddest part is that ignorant pawns on both sides don’t recognize the masters they serve. Their ignorance allows them to believe they’re doing the right thing, making them extremely dangerous. A false belief is a powerful force. Washington warned the party system would destroy us, and he was right. Both political parties share responsibility for our ever-expanding government and systemic division. Our Founders would never have approved, yet those we entrusted with protecting our Republic do little to correct the problem.
In reality, many self-declared patriots have lost sight of foundational values, confusing them with religious or partisan dogma. They forget that the Constitution itself (not party platforms or theological interpretations) is the true standard of liberty. But when citizens replace foundational principles with factional identities, they become blind to the erosion of freedom, cheering for their own chains while believing they’re free. Welcome to America 2025, where every single right in the Bill of Rights faces active infringement, and few seem eager to do anything about it.
Citizen Responsibility
Freedom-loving Americans can no longer afford passivity. They also shouldn’t attempt to deny or ignore the threat, because it is very real. Defense of the Republic cannot be outsourced to an untrustworthy and compromised government. Citizen responsibility is constitutional responsibility.
This effort begins with mental fortitude, rejection of indoctrination, and pursuit of truth, which is an exceptionally difficult endeavor. It extends into civic engagement, encompassing the defense of free speech, the demand for institutional accountability, the resistance to censorship disguised as compassion, and the building of resilient communities. At the same time, readiness must include the willingness to defend families and neighborhoods from the real-world consequences of ideological warfare. Now, this isn’t vigilantism, but rather a recognition that complacency in the face of aggression is tantamount to surrender. That is simply unacceptable.
The Choice Before Us
Fifth Generation Warfare has transformed ideas into weapons and domestic extremists into proxy forces. The uniforms, rhetoric, and celebration of political violence aren’t isolated incidents but the visible edge of an ongoing invasion. The question is: at what point should we stand in defense of this Republic? At what point will we admit that many in government are complicit? At what point do we admit that the bus we are on is out of control?

For those who see these truths, neutrality is impossible, because passivity has become a form of surrender. Preserving the Republic requires citizens who are fortified in mind, united in community, and unwavering in their defense of the Constitution. However, that comes with a caveat. We cannot support, love, defend, or exercise something we do not know. We must be familiar with our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Only then can we believe as deeply as the enemy believes in their cause, and only then can we mount an effective defense.
The enemy has chosen its methods. Patriots must now choose theirs. Game theory reminds us that violence without consequence invites repetition and escalation. The choice is stark: recognition and action or drift. “Drift” doesn’t sound too good. Recognition of reality produces resilience, consequence, and unity. Drift yields defeat without a fight.
Friends, the invasion is well underway and has been. Thanks to technology, their advances have been powerful. And yes, there are some who want to save the pawns, but we must understand that these domestic actors are manipulated into hating themselves, their fellow citizens, and their nation. While they are pawns in this game, it doesn’t make them any less dangerous. If they are to be saved, they must save themselves. Until then, we must consider them casualties in this war against radical leftist ideologies (Marxism/Socialism/Communism).
Nevertheless, we must also recognize that the Constitution is the ultimate authority. We have the high ground. To abandon it now is to surrender without resistance. If freedom matters at all, then that’s simply unacceptable. Appeal to accuracy. Beware the psyops, and move with a purpose. Our very future likely depends on it.
